New Life Children’s Home is a Christian missions
organization that desires to change lives by providing a safe and loving home
for the abandoned and abused children of Honduras while introducing each child
to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. More
information about New Life Children's Home can be found at www.newlifehonduras.org. While in Honduras we will be ministering to
the children and staff at the New Life Children’s Home as well as various
mission opportunities throughout the community.
In Colombia,
I will
provide education for two families children who are currently serving on the
Colombia Amazon team. I will also have the opportunity to participate in
ministry with the women on the Colombia Amazon team through “storying” groups
that have been started in homes in the local area.
I
believe strongly in the power of prayer, I covet the commitment of those who would cover our time in Honduras and my time in Colombia in prayer.
I am so proud of you Kendra ! I have been praying for you and that you can follow God's calling for you. I pray that you feel His Presence in everything you do and that you feel fulfillment and joy in even the smallest things. I pray that others can see Jesus in you and that your smile and positive outlook will be infectious and that you will be able to spread the GOOD NEWS to those you go to serve. I pray for wisdom and strength and that you go in His Care. I pray for good health, and good friends for you. I am excited to hear of your stories of the people and the culture there. ReplyDeleteI just listened to your song. I need to reassess my prayers. I need to pray for myself, not so much you, as you seem to have gotten "it", and somehow I've missed it in a way. The world can pull so hard, we forget we are in a fight and just give in. Thank you for reminding me. See, you are doing His Will already.. God bless you.. :)
